About Us
Commitment to satisfy our customers' needs, quality in our product, and integrity in all we do!
QMI, Inc. was established in 1979, in Ft. Lupton, Colorado as a production machine shop servicing customers mostly in the medical and aerospace industries.
In 1992 the company moved to its current location in the Mid America Industrial Park in Pryor, Oklahoma. Since that time QMI has diversified and now operates as three divisions in Northeastern Oklahoma.
QMI Specializes in providing our customers with value added services above and beyond those supplied by our competition. Treating each of our customers needs as our own, we often supply additional services such as painting, assembling and packaging.
Our Production Machining Division uses state of the art CNC production lathes and machining centers, single spindle screw machines and a wide range of secondary and manual equipment. This division machines parts for several OEM manufacturers in the heavy equipment, oil & gas, defense, electric drive, communications and many other industries. Our machining division also supplies all machined part requirements to the Specialty Manufacturing Division, something that few of our competitors do.
Our Specialty Manufacturing Division produces our line of hole punching, perforation, and slit vent equipment, as well as replacement parts for similar equipment used in the blown film conversion industry. Building this division of our company with the same values that made us successful in production machining, QMI has become the leading manufacturer of in-line hole punching equipment. This division includes our welding and metal fabrication shop which rebuilds equipment, including manufacturing and re-manufacturing of pumps and control devices for the petroleum industry.
Our Specialty Machining Division, which opened in 2014 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, has the equipment and expertise to repair or rebuild machinery components and services a wide range of industrial customers. This division has also become a supplier of many of the machined parts needed in the Production Manufacturing Division. Our services include reverse engineering, 24/7 on call service for our regular customers with critical downtime emergencies, and pick-up and delivery service.
